September-December Books.

I am so behind! I have also been so busy that I have done next to no reading these past few months. September and October were full of reading travel guides and planning for Europe and since we have been home it has been busy busy busy with Christmas and everything.

The 20 Something Guide to Getting It Together: A Step-By-Step Plan for Surviving Your Quarterlife Crisis by Mary Traina - I actually loved this book and found it very informative and relevant. Relevant to the point of the topics I was reading about came up during discussions with friends because of problems or questions they were having. Certainly worth checking out.

I Work at a Public Library: A Collection of Crazy Stories from the Stacks by Gina Sheridan - HILARIOUS! Not only funny because I work in a public library, but funny in general. I had actually made the suggestion some time ago to a coworker that we needed to write a book about all of the things we see and hear. It would be very similar to us, except more techy, like the time the lady kept trying to put the mouse on the computer screen or the number of people who expect us to know what their password is, sorry we just met five minutes ago.

The Rosie Project: A Novel by Graeme Simsion - I did the audio book of this on suggestion from a coworker and I was not disappointed. Insider hint: if the wait time at the library is too long on a book check out the cd or the large print. There were like 50 holds on the book, and 0 on the book on cd. Plus it is always nice to have something to listen to when you drive. Anyways, it is a great book. Kind of funny and all around great. I am looking forward to finding the time to read the sequel.

Requiem by Lauren Olivia - This is the third book in the Delirium series. I enjoyed it more than the third book in most series which is a good thing. It was a nice conclusion to a great series.

Two of a Kind by Susan Mallery - I was desperate for an audiobook one day and picked this up off the shelf. I did not realize it at the time that it was one of those paperback romance books but in audiobook. I am glad I got it for two reasons. One it was actually not a bad book and two I am trying to read new types of books and get a better sense of different genera's. Now do not get me wrong, yes it was a good story line, but it was a bit rated 18A and I am not one to be reading books like 50 shades of Gray.

Chose the wrong guy, gave him the wrong finger by Beth Harbison - This was another off the shelf audiobook, I really need to get around to finishing that ever growing reading list of mine, but I am very happy with this one. The story of a girl who left a guy at the alter never to really get over him or know what really went wrong, only to have him and his brother come back to town after being gone for ten years. Lets be real I am a sucker for a good romance and the main character is so in her own head it is very relatable.
