Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows by JK Rowlings- This was the last audio book I had to listen to and it took me almost until the end of my work contract which was perfect timing. I think this turned out to be my favourite of the books, mainly because even though it was the most recent, I have forgotten it most of all and they are the movies I have watched the least. I was sad to see the series come to an end, but am excited to start another set of audiobooks. I am kind of excited about how many I might be able to listen to on the New York City road trip.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - This book was a joy to read again. It is so similar to the movie that I loved it. I loved the fact that the book and movie were so similar and so well written. It was a joy to read and I completed it in almost no time at all. I typically feel like I love either the books or the movies or both separate (in that they are both good, but cannot be compared because they are so different), these books on the other hand are so close to the movie and both are done so wonderfully that I loved them.
